               Ramazon aytib keldik eshigingizga,

              Qo’chqorday o’g'il bersin beshigingizga.

              O’choqda kul, karmonda pul,

             Chiqazaqoling 100 so’m pul.

             Yuz so’m pullni bog’i bor,

             Bog’ida anori bor.

Anorini ichida, shaqir shuqir pullar bor.

Ob chiqin, ob chiqin, tog’araga sob chiqin.

            Yahshi amakim pull beradilar,

            Yomon amakim haydvorallar.

Bor bo’lsa qolaylik, yo’ bo’lsa ketaylik.

We came to your house to tell you Ramadan

May Allah gives to your cradle, little cute boy

Ash is in the hearth, money is in the pocket,

Come on give us 100 bucks.

100 bucks have their garden

There are pomegranates in the garden

Inside of pomegranate are changes and bucks

Bring money in your basin,

If you don’t have basin, bring money in your hands

Good uncle gives money

We are running away from bad uncle.

If you have money we would get,

If you don’t have money we would go.

This is Ramadan song in my country…mostly boys after iftar goes around neighborhoog and collect moey or candies. I think it is from culture.

I remeber when i was nine or ten years old i went to tell Ramadan song with my cousin. We both got dressed in boy clothes and went to get some money. It was winter , so people couldn’t  see that was two young girls. That day one uncle gave us 3 so’ms and i don’t remeber what we bought for those money. It was my first and I think last time when i told Ramadan. :D
